About The Author: EJ a la mode
EJ Spillberg is an 11-year-old Ugandan designer based in New York, America. He is going into his last year of middle school and he has been designing and creating clothes since he was 5. He believes that clothes are a way for one to express oneself, and that wearing what one wants, when one wants is when one starts to pursue a life that truly makes them happy. The bright colours parallel the feelings one gets when they are happy, and each piece’s flowiness demonstrates that to seek happiness, one must first free themselves from the chains that they are shackled to.
